OVERVIEW
When will the race be held?
The race will have a prologue and three stages on the following dates and locations:
- June 30: Prologue La Massana – La Massana, 7km, +260m
- July 1: Stage 1: La Massana-La Massana, 42km, +1550m
- July 2: Stage 2: Canillo-La Massana, 60km, +1950m
- July 3 Stage 3: Naturlandia ( height 1600m) – La Massana, 49km, +1300m

What requirements are needed to participate in the race?
In order to participate in the race you must turn 18 in the calendar year of the race.
To participate it is mandatory to be in possession of the corresponding cycling license Federation of Andorra or approved by the ICU and covered in Andorra, or subscribe to the insurance provided by the organization. The insurance provides medical coverage to the physical injuries suffered by the participant, there will not be covered material damage of the bicycle or accessories.
Participation in the race is under the responsibility and own risk of the participant. The participant at the time of registration declares to be physically fit for the test.
The registration is personal and non-transferable and implies the acceptance of all the articles of these rules. All prices are shown on the registration form on the website, the official page of the event, and can be processed through the registration platform itself.
What does the general entry include?
- Participation in the race.

What does the VIP Pack include?
Enjoy a unique experience without worrying about anything other than the race, through the VIP Pack.
- Accommodation at the AnyosPark Mountain & Wellness Resort Hotel in a double room with breakfast included, check-in on the 29th of June and check-out on the 4th of July.
- Registration to Andorra MTB Classic-Pyrenees for the two team members with all the extras included in the general entry.
What are the race categories?
The teams are always made up of two riders.
- Team categories are determined by the youngest team member.
- Age is calculated as of December 31 of the year in which the race is held.

For a category to be formed at least 5 registered teams are required to participate in that category.
Is it possible to pay for my registration with a Payment Option Plan?
Athletes who register on or before March 7, 2021 may choose to pay by a three-part PAYMENT PLAN OPTION. Athletes will be charged the current price of the level in three equal installments. To choose the payment plan, the athlete must select the payment plan on the payment page during online registration. Please note that after registering through the payment plan option, you will receive a receipt email for the first Active payment. The confirmation email will only be sent after the third and final payment is received. All three payments must be completed for an athlete to compete – partial payments will not be refunded or redeemed as race entries. Athletes who choose the payment plan may also use the deferral option mentioned above once all three payments have been completed.
- Payment 1: At the time of registration.
- Payment 2: To be charged on April 6th.
- Payment 3: To be charged on May 6th.
Does this event offer qualification for Absa Cape Epic to the top qualifiers in each category?
Yes, the winner of each category will earn a place for the Absa Cape Epic. Besides performance qualification, riders will be able to participate in the draw for a place by purchasing a lottery entry in the additional purchases section of your Active profile. The cost of participation in the lottery is 10 €, the proceeds of which will be allocated to a selected charity.
Please note that securing an Absa Cape Epic qualification slot, both by classification and by lottery draw, entitles the rider to the right to register for the Absa Cape Epic, but does not exempt the rider from paying the registration fee for the entry.
REGISTRATION AND CHANGES PROCESS
How should we register the two team members for the race?
First, the Team Captain must register. The Team Captain will make the payment for the registration and will create a password for the team. In the confirmation e-mail the team captain will receive instructions on how to add your teammate, Team Member.
The Team Member can register via this link or via the category on the registration page of our website. You will need a password from your Team Captain.
What is the deadline to register my teammate?
Team Captain’s will have until 45 days before the race to add their teammate.
How do I access my profile to check my registration and make modifications
- Log in to https://myevents.active.com
- Scroll through the list of registered events.
- Choose “Edit Registration Information”
- Make the changes you want about your personal data, etc.
- Save the changes.
In case you need to modify the contact email, send an email to the [email protected] we will do it for you.
Why I am registered, but I do not appear on the startlist?
In this case it may be due to two things:
- Your teammate has not yet registered for the race.
- You have entered on the payment plan option and still have one of your instalments pending. In this case we will add you to the startlist on the next update immediately after the final payment.
What do I do if I need to change a team members to someone else?
To complete your transfer to another athlete, follow these steps:
- STEP 1: the rider who withdraws from the race has until the week before the race to inform us by contacting the race office at [email protected] and include the full details (name, surname and email) of the new team member.
- STEP 2: We will process your application within 5 working days.
- STEP 3: We will cancel the first rider.
- STEP 4: The new rider will receive an invitation from Active.com with a registration link.
- STEP 5: The new rider must complete the form and pay the transfer fee.
- STEP 6: The new user will receive a confirmation email from Active.com.
What options do I have if I cannot participate?
If you have registered within the first 90 days from the opening of registration you are eligiable for a free deferral and can choose the option of deferring your entry to the following year. You can read more in the terms and conditions section of our website. To complete the deferral, follow these steps:
- STEP 1: By no later than 45 days before the race day, complete the deferral form. Please note that the form must be submitted by the team captain.
- STEP 2: After submitting the form, the Team Captain will receive an automatic email from active.com confirming that we have received your deferral request. If you have not received an email, please contact [email protected] or fill out the form again (please also check your SPAM folder for this email).
- STEP 3: If you are eligible for a deferral, we will cancel your registration for this year’s Andorra MTB Classic-Pyrenees within 5 working days and fully refund any additional purchases. You will also receive an email to confirm this.
- STEP 4: One week before the opening of the General Registration for the following year’s event into which you are deferring, we will send you an email with a personalised registration link to register free of charge.
- STEP 5: You must redeem your entry within 30 days of receiving that email. Any link not completed after 30 days will be cancelled.
If you are unable to participate you can also opt to withdraw and receive a 25% refund. To complete your waiver, please follow these steps:
- STEP 1: By no later than 45 days before the day of the race, fill in the form that you can find in the following link.
- STEP 2: After submitting the waiver form, you will receive a confirmation email from Active.com confirming that we have received your application. In case you have not received this, please contact [email protected] or fill in the form again (also check your spam folder).
- STEP 3: We will process your application within 5 working days. Refunds will be issued to the credit card used during registration unless it is explicitly stated on the withdrawal request that you want a bank transfer. When transferring to a bank account, the account holder and the athlete being withdrawn must be the same person. If we refund to a bank account, the transfer can take up to 6 weeks.
- STEP 4: You will receive a confirmation email from Active.com once your withdrawal has been completed.
ABOUT THE RACE
When and where should I pick up my bib number?
The bibs will be collected in the Central Park of Andorra la Vella.
- Tuesday 28 June 09: 00h to 19: 00h.
- Wednesday 29 June 09: 00h to 19: 00h.
To collect bib number IT IS MANDATORY to present the Identity Card or passport and the Cycling license in the event that the insurance proposed by the organization has not been subscribed.

Does the race organizer take care of my bike during each stage?
Yes, from the end of the prologue stage to the last stage the organization will guard all the bikes of the participants. For logistical reasons it will be mandatory before taking the exit of stages 1 and 2 as they will be transported to the exit points of the stage.
Can my companions attend briefings and awards ceremonies?
During the daily briefings and the award ceremony a catering service will be offered for all riders. If any of your companions want to join you, you can buy a ticket for a specific day or for all days in the additional shopping section of your Active profile. Riders have this service included in their registration.
