Withdrawals & Cancellations

Deferral rules: 

  1. The deferral option is available to athletes that signed up within the first 90 days from the opening of registration  for the general entries  of the Andorra MTB Classic-Pyrenees.
  2. A deferral is only possible to the same race in the  following year.
  3. Deferrals are only available for the whole team and not for individual riders within a team.
  4. The deferral option is not available for  complimentary and sponsored race entries.
  5. Athletes who elect to defer their entry forfeit any right for a partial refund or insurance refund.
  6. The deferral may only be used once.
  7. All deferral requests will be honored until 45 days to the original race date.
  8. Athletes electing to use the payment plan may also utilize the deferral option, but only once all three payments have been completed.
  9. A deferral is also excluded for athletes who paid the entry fee in whole or in part by redeeming a voucher credit at the time of registration.

Deferral Process: 

To complete your deferral, please use the following steps: 

  • STEP 1: Before 45 days prior to race day, fill out the deferral form here. Please note: The form needs to be submitted by the team captain.
  • STEP 2: After submitting the form, the team captain will receive an automatic email from active.com confirming that we have received your deferral request. In the case you have not received an email please contact [email protected] or fill out the form again (please also check your junk folder for this email).
  • STEP 3: If you are eligible for a deferral, we will cancel your registration to this year`s Andorra MTB Classic-Pyrenees within 5 working days and fully refund the additional purchases. You will also receive an email to confirm this.
  • STEP 4: One week before General Entries open for the event you are deferring into, we will send you an email with a personalized registration link to sign up at no cost.
  • STEP 5: You must redeem your entry within 30 days of receiving that email. Any unredeemed links after 30 days will become void.

Withdrawal Rules: 

  1. If you are unable to find a substitute  rider/team, withdrawal requests must be sent via the withdrawal form (link) during the following time frames in order to be eligible for a partial refund:
    a) Until 4 months prior to race day: 50% refund of the total entry fees (including Active fee)
    b) Until 45 days prior to race day: 25% refund of the total entry fees (including Active fee)
    c) After 45 days to race day: no refund
  2. If you should depart early for any reason whatsoever, the price for the booking cannot be refunded.
  3. When choosing the payment plan, you cannot claim for any partial refund.
  4. Athletes wishing to withdraw may attempt to establish that the damage sustained by the organizer from his/her withdrawal is lower than the agreed-upon amount withheld by the organizer pursuant to these regulations.
  5. Please note that all additional items purchased during registration will be refunded at 100% up until 45 days prior to the race, except where they have already been sent to the athlete.
  6. Licenses can only be refunded in the case of a withdrawal within the refund deadline. If you purchase a national mountain bike license by your federation the one-day license cannot be refunded.
  7. Athletes who paid the entry fee in whole or in part by redeeming a credit voucher at the time of registration, are not eligible for a refund
  8. Refunds will be issued to the credit card used during registration unless it is explicitly stated in the withdrawal request that you want a bank transfer. When transferring to a bank account the account holder and the athlete withdrawing must be the same person. If we refund to a bank account, the transfer can take up to 6 weeks.
  9. A refund is also excluded for athletes who paid the entry fee in whole or in part by redeeming a voucher credit at the time of registration.

Withdrawal Process: 

To complete your withdrawal, please use the following steps: 

  • STEP 1: Before 45 days prior to race day, fill in the form that you can find in the following link.
  • STEP 2: After submitting the withdrawal form you will receive a confirmation email from Active.com confirming that we have received your request. In case you have not received this please contact [email protected] or fill out the form again (please also check your junk folder).
  • STEP 3: We will process your request within 5 working days. Refunds will be issued to the credit card used during registration unless it is explicitly stated in the withdrawal request that you want a bank transfer. When transferring to a bank account the account holder and the athlete withdrawing must be the same person. If we refund to a bank account, the transfer can take up to 6 weeks.
  • STEP 4: You will receive a confirmation email from Active.com once your withdrawal is completed.

Rider change: 

  1. If  a team member cannot participate due to sickness or injury, a substitute team member can register in that person’s place. Both team members can be substituted. The following fees apply:
  2. Until 4 months prior to race day:  30€
  3. Until 45 days prior to race day: 50€
  4. Until race day: 50€

Rider change Process: 

To complete your transfer to  another rider, please use the following steps:

  • STEP 1: Before race week, the rider  withdrawing from the race must inform us by contacting the race office at [email protected]   and include the full details (name, last name and email) of new the team member.
  • STEP 2: We will process your request within 5 working days.
  • STEP 3: We will cancel the first rider.
  • STEP 4: The new rider will receive an invitation from Active.com with a registration link.
  • STEP 5: The new rider must complete the form and pay the change fee.
  • STEP 6: The new rider will receive a confirmation email from Active.com.
